Film Noir Friday: Fingerman [1955]

Welcome! The lobby of the Deranged L.A. Crimes theater is open. Grab a bucket of popcorn, some Milk Duds and a Coke and find a seat.

Tonight’s feature is FINGERMAN starring Frank Lovejoy, Forrest Tucker, and Peggie Castle.

IMDB says:

An ex-con goes undercover for the government to “finger” the crime boss who made his sister a drug addict.

  1. The real star was Tim Carey. To me he stole the show. When he was in the scenes, all of the rest of the characters and the background blurred and a Tim was in front.
Come up with more films with him.

    • I agree with you Steve. Tim Carey had a way of shining no matter what the material. I think most of the films noir in which he appeared are not in the public domain, which is frustrating. Have you ever seen The World’s Greatest Sinner? I’m not sure where, or if, it is available but it is worth finding if you can.
